What is Curiosity

Hi fams

Have you ever wondered, who was the first professor?. Then who taught the first professor? It's somehow strange right? What just happened is the outcome of curiosity. So what is Curiosity? Curiosity is the act of being inquisitive to learn by asking and making researches.

Curiosity is not science 🔭 meanwhile science is Curiosity. This post is to introduce you to what we will be doing here and why we choose to be curious. Without curiosity there can never be science. Most of the time the first individuals to do one thing or the other are not always scientist they are just one of those curious individuals.

According to me science is just like a branch under curiosity. because without curiosity there can't be science but without science curiosity will exist.

Albert Einstein once said and I quote that curiosity is better than knowledge. But what does the great man mean? Albert Einstein actually knew the impact he was able to make through being curious.

If I am to name a course I would call it "Curiology"It would be the study to discover and unravel new methods and technics.

Every new invention and discoveries is as a result of someone somewhere being curious.

If Isaac Newton had not been curious he wouldn't care why the apple fell off the tree

If Charles Barbage had not been curious he wouldn't spend his life time working on the computer

If bells had not been curious he wouldn't care for a need to communicate with people at far distance through telephone.

If Albert Einstein had not been curious he wouldn't spend years trying to build the cathode ray tube which we use as television today.

If the wright brothers had not been curious they wouldn't care if we needed a means to travel through air. They would have even given up the project after 40 years of trial

Thousands of people passed by the apple tree daily. they saw the apple falling. they knew it was falling just like Newton but the difference was that they never sit to think of WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN. Most of the phenomenons in our surrounding are taking with levity.

The joy of being a scientist cannot be expressed without being curious. Albert Einstein was very poor in maths yet he worked with calculus, he showed the world the way to the atomic bomb, he made first layout of the modern television screen and predicted relativity. All of this because he was curious to search, learn, understand and to innovate.

This is the main purpose of this community as I would be sharing with you the secrets behind some things you see but do not understand, you feel but cannot comprehend, you experience but do not know why it's really happening, you heard but do not believe, you imagined but do not care to look into with curiosity.

Weekly dose of curios question and comprehensive answer to clear your doubt will commence here.

Join me every Sunday as I unravel the secretes of Curiosity.
