What is atheism

Ah, atheism. The concept of not believing in a higher power or deity. Some might call it blasphemy, while others might praise it asa rational and logical way of looking at the world. But what exactly is atheism? Let's dive into the topic, shall we?

Firstly, atheism is not a religion. Yes, you read that right. It's not a cultwith the article:

You won't find any weekly meetings, holy scripture, or a charismatic leader with silver hair and a private jet in atheism. Sorry to disappoint. Instead, atheists believe in the power of reason and scientific evidence. They argue that the universe is a product of natural laws and processes, and that there is no supernatural entity controlling our destinies.

This might sound bleak and pessimistic to some, but atheists would argue that it's not. In fact, they find great comfort in the fact that they are responsible for their own lives and decisions, rather than relying on an invisible being in the sky to guide them. Plus, they can sleep in on Sunday mornings without feeling guilty.
